ASiF is thrilled to announce its 16th Annual Resident Artist Show!

The exhibit will feature new work by over 20 ASiF resident artists in a range of media including oil, acrylic, watercolor, encaustics, mixed media, printmaking, ceramic sculpture, pottery and more in the center's main gallery as well as individual exhibits in each of the artist's private studios and shared community classroom areas.

The event will begin at 5pm with wine, refreshments and a live musical performance by jazz and classical pianist Gregory S. Young.

The 2025 Resident Artist Show will be on display through Saturday, March 15th with open Gallery hours Thursdays - Saturdays from 11am - 4pm.

INSPIRATION for ASiF's 2025 EKPHRASTIC FANTASTIC !

Artworks featured in the 2025 Resident Artist Show will have the opportunity to be selected and featured in ASiF's 3rd Annual Ekphrastic Fantastic: Art-Inspired Poetry event in late March. The Ekphrastic Fantastic exhibit will be celebrated with a gallery show, as well as poetry reading events in ASiF's community classroom.

ASiF's annual Ekphrastic Fantastic event is a collaboration with the Nevada County Arts Council, and is an official event of the Sierra Poetry Festival. The mission of this curated event is to bring together two distinct and thriving communities of visual artists and poets of Nevada County.
