In this four-part class on intuitive painting, you’ll explore a freeform, expressive approach to creating art. We’ll set aside rigid plans, encouraging you to choose colors and techniques that feel right in the moment and to break away from the conventional “rules” of painting. Each session will introduce different ways to work with color and form as you let your intuition guide you. Along the way, you’ll discover what resonates most—whether it’s certain imagery, textures, shapes, or colors—helping you to develop a personal, authentic style. Together, we’ll move through the "awkward teenage phase" that often arises in the creative process, finding ways to work through challenges until your piece feels complete and satisfying.

Gather friends and family for a relaxing and creative Intuitive Painting party where you'll explore your inner artist in a fun, welcoming environment. These paint partys welcome all skill levels and encourage free expression through limited guidance and expectations. Think of it as the yoga of painting, as opposed to the ballet.
We’ll begin with a brief introduction to intuitive painting, followed by a guided overview of materials and a short mindfulness exercise to help you tap into your inner artist. Rose will demonstrate a variety of techniques throughout the session, all of which are optional to incorporate onto your canvas.
Sip on your favorite beverage while you mingle with your friends throughout, and immerse yourself in the joy of painting without pressure to make a masterpiece. By the end of the session, you'll have a unique piece of art that reflects your instincts and emotions, along with new techniques and inspiration to continue your artistic journey.
