Art Lab: Drawing & Watercolor - Animals
with Denise Wey
Ages 7 & up - 6 weeks / $85
Mondays, 3:45-5 pm PT - Sept 13, 20, 27 & Oct 4, 11 & 25
(no class Oct 18)
This art lab is for kids who love drawing and color. The Muse of this session is animals. Students will need some supplies: watercolors, watercolor paper & brush & watercolor pencils! Experimental at it’s core but young artists will learn much about handling watercolors, color & basic drawing! Supply list available upon registration..
Manga (Animae) - Who’s This Character? - with Denise & Iris
Ages 10 & up - 6 weeks / $85
Tuesdays, 3:45-5 pm PT - Sept 14, 21, 28 & Oct 5, 12 & 26
(no class Oct 19)
Manga is a Japanese word referring both to comics and cartooning. (Animae is the animated version of Manga) This class is for young Manga artists who want to work on developing their characters and is focused on learning to draw the human form…face, eyes, bodies, hands, etc. Lessons are given each class.
The students may choose to follow along exactly or do the lesson in their own way entirely, depending on what they’re working on at the time.

This art lab is for kids who love drawing and color. The Muse of this session is our world around us…mountains, rivers & forests. Students will need some supplies: watercolors, watercolor paper & brush & colored pencils! Experiment and discovery in art is important for young artists, who will build on their knowledge about handling watercolors, color & basic drawing skills! Supply list available upon registration.

Ages 10 & up - 6 weeks / $85
Tuesdays, 3:45-5 pm PT - Nov 2, 9, 16, 30 & Dec 7 & 14

The students may choose to follow along exactly or do the lesson in their own way entirely, depending on what they’re working on at the time.
